Six More Operators Receive Fixed Line Voice Service Licenses
On Wednesday and Thursday, another six alternative telecommunication operators took over licenses for providing fixed line voice services at the Telecommunications Office. The number of licenses issued for providing this service increased to ten.
On Thursday and Friday the following companies took over their licenses: eTel Slovensko, s.r.o.; GTS Slovakia, s.r.o.; Energotel, a.s.; Nextra, s.r.o.; ViaPVT, a.s. and Zeleznicne Telekomunikacie, an affiliation of Zeleznice SR and BT Slovakia, s.r.o. On December 2-3 the authority issued licenses to Dial Telecom, a.s., ConnSpec Telekom, s.r.o., Aliatel Slovakia, s.r.o. and PosTel, a.s. On Friday licenses will be issued to M.B.C., s.r.o. and next week to BT Slovakia, s.r.o.
