Orange won tender 

      Orange Slovensko won tender to assign a block of frequencies to provide mobile wireless electronic communiacations network and will pay 40 mil. SKK.

     Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic announces bidding for tender proceeding to assign a block of frequencies to provide mobile wireless electronic communiacations network. The network will be in frequency band 872 - 876 MHz/912 - 921 MHz in Slovak Republic for the duration of 20 years. Further information can be found here (in English).

Telecommunications Office Transfers SKK 494,6 Mln. to State Budget in 2007

     Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic transferred SKK 494,6 million to the state budget in 2007. Revenues for the administration of the frequency spectrum - at SKK 435,4 million - represented the biggest portion of its total revenues last year.
